These lovely hoops are crafted in Tumbaga and coated with 14k gold. 

Tumbaga is an alloy made of copper and zinc. It doesn't change color over time, but it's an affordable alternative to gold. Earrings have a hollow tube, allowing the wire to slip into the tubing on the back, creating an endless Hoop.
